The MakeUp Tag

I'm doing this makeup tag since Aya tagged me~ :P And because of this tag, I've gotten back to the makeup addiction, making me want more makeup stuff, correction, expensive makeup stuff. Haha!

Photobucket

So right here is my everyday makeup kit. I bring it with me wherever I go. I just put basic stuff in it like my powder and then there's my Clinique blush. Most of the time, I'd put on eyeliner. I'd prefer the liquid, from Nichido rather than the pencil, Faceshop, since it'd look nicer but I use the pencil when I'm in a rush. One of my favorite things here would be my Rootbeer lipgloss! I got it from my cousin, Ate Abi, who got it when she was in the US. It's an authentic MUG rootbeer lipgloss! :P Tastes like rootbeer I tell you. I also love my Co Bigelow apple cinnamint lipgloss! :P I love the minty taste and cold feeling my lips get when I put them on. And they make my lips all shiny too! 8D Oh and I got my makeup kit from SAIZEN! (Ayaaaa! We should go there soon!)

Photobucket
Here are my other lip favorites. I still have an unopened Co Bigelow lipstick, it's spearmint flavor this time. Then G-lish lipgloss in two different shades. Then, Burt's Bees pink guava lipgloss. Tita Sienna gave it to me when she knew I was attending this wedding of my cousin. :P And then there's my Aziza lipgloss, which I just like since it's from Aziza.

Photobucket
And speaking of Aziza, here's my Aziza collection. I bought the eye shadow palette, the big one, for one dollar in Subic's Duty Free! It was on sale. The other two Aziza palette I got from my Tita who bought it in the States. I just love the Aziza colors, plus they're not that expensive so it's nice for everyday makeup too.

Photobucket
I love using my Victoria's Secret olive green eye shadow when I make smokey eyes. Then I usually use my Clinique eyeshadow--Strawberry Duo to go with it.

Photobucket
Here are my Mac pieces. My only Mac pieces. three Mac lipsticks and one eye shadow. I only use them when I feel that I've 'neglected' them :)) They were given to me by Tita Sienna but still I don't want to use them everyday even though they're for everyday use since the colors are in natural tone.

Photobucket
My makeup brushes. Three are from The Body Shop. The others, I got them at a bargain from the department store.

Photobucket
This is what my tiny makeup cabinet(?) looks like. It's really small that's why I only use my eyepencils, mascara and lipstuff in it. It's placed right there on my dresser so that I'd see it everyday and I won't forget to put makeup on when I leave the house. :))

Photobucket
And lastly here's my makeup drawer--where I put all my makeup stuff. It's a bit messy. Believe me I try to fix it, but then a few days later, it'd be messed up again. :))

That's why I've been bugging my dad to buy me a new dresser....actually make me a new one. I'd like a personalized one and not those ones you buy at a home stuff store. And he said he would if only I'd show him a drawing since I wanted it to be personalized. :)) That's the thing though, I haven't drawn it yet since I don't have a specific design in mind yet.

Anyway, I'm done with this makeup tag. Thanks to Aya for tagging me! :P I had fun doing this tag.

I'M TAGGING: Paula, Dianne, Elana, Keni, Yeye

Now, I'll go back to me watching the movie "The Little Prince" (1974). I read the book while I was still in highschool but it was only yesterday during my Video Production class that I knew there was a movie version of the book! I shall write about that another time. I remember that I also have to do a birthday post. It's almost a month later and I still haven't done a birthday post here. :)) Next time.

It's going to be my birthday in a few hours and I won't be home to make my birthday post at the strike of twelve since I will be going out with my friends. :P I'll just post this in the meantime.

Also, I wanna take this time to greet, my other friend,

KENI HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I was not able to catch her online in Y!M today so I thought I'll just greet her here. I'll chat with you soon, bebe! Video Conference! Hahaha! Let's chat each other when we're both 19 na! Lol~*HUGS TIGHT*

Red Sweet Goodness

As predicted, I got productive today and I was able to finish my 2D pencil transfers. Now, all that's left for 2D is for me to ink it and them I'm done. I can't believe I'm done with that. I'm pretty happy with the results too, didn't think it'd come out nice.

To celebrate, and to somewhat relax me, I made some Red Velvet Cupcakes this afternoon. Baking relaxes me big time. I made about 24 pieces of red sweet goodness. They look good and look even better with the icing on top. Made everything from scratch that's why I'm really proud of it. It's my first time making cupcakes in general so I'm pretty excited with this.

Photobucket
The whole batch.

The only one with the icing.

Temtping, aren't they!

Cupcake success! Can't wait to taste them. I'll have them as dessert tonight.

Probably the only bad thing that happened was I burned my two fingers because of the hot cupcake pan. -_- I used kitchen gloves, but I didn't realize that it didn't cover my other fingers. Yikes. It hurts right now and it's probably going to hurt more tomorrow.

Oh by the way, I got the cupcake recipe from here @ Elise. Try it if your curious. The only thing I changed was that I added chocolate and white chocolate chips to the cupcakes before baking them but aside from that, I followed all the steps. It was pretty easy.

*SIGH* But I'm not yet done with Midterms stuff. I still have a website to fix and a script to write. No worries, I still have tonight and the whole day of tomorrow to finish them. Then off to eat out with friends and wait for the strike of 12mn and celebrate my birthday! I'm turning 19 already, the last year of my teenhood!

Haha, but another friend of mine, Keni is going to turn a year older a day earlier before me so that's fine. Advanced Happy Birthday Keni. There's a cupcake for you. Lol :))

Time to work~

Procrastinating Fool

It's going to be my Midterms week in a few days, and of course the lazy student that I am, I always find reasons to not do my homeworks and plates.

It's now Wednesday night, supposed to be my last school day for the week but I have a make-up class in 3D tomorrow, and here I am, just lying on my bed watching TV. Very nice. I know I have better things to do. Lots of better things to do.

WEBDEV. I seriously need to fix my layout. And my Press Cafe activity. It's embarrassing. And then start on my Boutique Hotel. And I can prepare my site for my midterms.

VIDPRD. I need to start writing my 5-1ominutes script so I can finish them in time for submission next Wednesday. I already have this story in mind, I'll do more research tomorrow.

2DANIM. I should start transferring my drawings on the templates and start inking them since I know it's going to take time and a whole lot of patience.

As for my other classes.. like CADVIS (AutoCad) and CNCTPHO (Photography), the midterms is going to be hands on. So nothing to prepare for that before hand--just actually be there on the day of the exam.

Another big problem is my 3DANIM class-- this is my hardest. The professor is not making any sense in the classroom. And God knows how much I suck in 3D. I hope to pass that subject. A 2.0 in that class is good enough. The professor's new, and when he teaches, he's like in his own world. He is able to discuss and execute (but not really teach us since we're not understanding anything) around 4 different topics in Maya--which by the way, isn't that easy to discuss--even in an online tutorial. He speaks in this fastforward pace that confuses everyone. And now he's going to make us have a make-up class tomorrow. I'm just going towards the other road, where I'm going to learng my own 3D. I think that's better.

But now, I'm still feeling problematic about that fact that I haven't been productive two nights straight. Last night, I just spent the whole night on the internet and watching TV and same goes for tonight--and I know I have more important stuff to do. I'm just not feeling the push to work tonight. I think it sucks; because then I know that in a few days, when the deadlines are nearer that I'm going to be cramming A WHOLE LOT. And then I look back and there's the regret of not doing things earlier. Crap. I need motivation to work. But even though I get it, probably I still won't be working tonight. Maybe it's just my brain's way of telling me to rest for a while and save up the energy and the creative juices for the (hopefully) productive weekend ahead! I'm definitely charging up for that weekend.

Other positive things to look forward to, I'm going to hang out with my College friends on Friday--to do more stuff for school, I hope. Then Saturday night, I'm going out with my Highschool friends to celebrate my birthday at the strike of 12mn! (Oh no, I'm gonna be another year older!) Hahaha.

And there's this new 2ne1 album I just can't wait to listen to. And lemme just share this Jerry Yan song that's been playing in my iPod since I've put it in there. This song is from his new album "Freedom" and it's actually the promo song for Sony Walkman in Taiwan. It's nice, really nice since it gives you that happy-go-lucky, light feeling when you hear the song. Although I think the MV is the same as the ones he made before, the song is definitely different and a must hear!

Six Days of Singapore

(This is a very very late blog post about my Singapore trip which was three weeks ago. I know I should've done this during my 10-day quarantine but I busy playing with Sims 3 then. :)) )

This is also going to be a long post. Imma try to keep it short but it's going to be hard. XD

Read it though, I had a fun time making this blog spot.

I went to Singapore again! This time with my College Friends. (I ♥ you, friends.) Went there with: Aya, Dino, Kevin, Paul, Jet, Mark, Gio, Carlo and Louie.

We stayed there from June 15 to 20. It was for school since we wanted to attend this seminar--CG Overdrive. But of course, since I was with my friends, hell, we were in Singapore, of course we'd make the most of it! And, it was the best six days of my life, so far. And the best of my memories. It was the first time I traveled abroad with just my friends.

Kevin and I in the bus from Budget Terminal
to Terminal 2. So happy!

I learned a lot from this trip, apart from the CG Overdrive. I learned that I have a new found love for maps! I practiced my map reading skills there which actually got my friends and I to places in Singapore and taught us about the transportation routes as well. They have such nice train stations in Singapore. I wouldn't complain about commuting in Singapore. Even their buses are way nicer than the ones we have here.

Here's our stop, Little India. Our hotel was just
across the street!

DAY ONE.
We stayed at G4 Station. This really, really cool backpacker's hostel I found through the net. It was small, but it was just right, it was enough to keep us rested but it was also enough to tell us to see the rest of Singapore and not stay in all day. I shared a room with Aya, Paul and Kevin.

Our first stop of the day was the typical tourist spot of the
Merlion by the Esplanade!

I love this picture a lot!

It was a tiring trip to the
Esplanade since we went around the Merlion when we could've just taken the shortcut. Haha, I was still sharpening my map skills then. XD

Me by the Esplanade!

It was around dinner time and all of us we're hungry. We took our first Singapore bus with our Tourist Pass! First dinner we had was in Lau Pa Sat! It was like this big big food court! I still remember my first taste of Satay! I was so happy when I got to taste it again!

Our Satay and sticky rice!

Me and Aya! Happy with our Satays
and Lemon Tree drinks.

Then we went to Bugis Street for some shopping. ♥

Here's our favorite Bugis Street.
"The largest street shopping location
in Singapore."

DAY TWO.
We got up pretty late. It rained the first morning and we got too lazy to get out of bed. It was so cold in the room. We went to Sunshine Plaza then back to Bugis after we ate lunch @ Singapore's famous Hawkers. More food splurge!

(picture from Kevin's camera)
Aya bought Green Tea ice cream.
And I bought Suha ice cream.

(picture from Kevin's camera)
The spicy noodle lunch. It was
still epically yummy.

By the CG Overdrive sign. :P

Look at our cool CG Overdrive IDs!

We met up with a lot of schools there too. Got all of us interested in studying in Singapore in the future.

Look at our freebies! We also got an
exclusive invite to the Open House @ Lucas Arts
Studio in Singapore.

We met up with a lot of schools there too. Got all of us interested in studying in Singapore in the future.

It was nighttime already and we were all so hungry. So we went to
Wisma Atria and had dinner @ Food Republic.

(picture from Kevin's camera)
I love my mango ice!

We did more shopping. Some of us went to Kinokuniya, while the rest of us explored the rest of Orchard Rd. Aya, Paul and I also went to HMV! Ahhh, yes, CD heaven. We also found Gramophone!

(picture from Kevin's camera)
I just really like this shot of Aya and me.

It was still early for us when we got to the hotel. Lol~ And the boys, along with the G4Station crew started this drinking station. We stayed up until 3am-ish drinking and playing the card game. We drank a lot. Good thing it was the boys who shouldered the drinking. :))

(picture from Gio)
See the Tiger beer and the cards!

DAY THREE.
Well, we went back to CG Overdrive. Paul, Kevin, Jet and I went to attend the seminar of this really cool speaker from Feng Zhu Design. I got so amazed I was inspired to make portrait from a blank canvas, if only I knew how. :))

But still, I was so happy that I found myself some
Crispy Mint M&Ms!

Rare candies I find only
in Singapore

I accompanied the boys and we went to Bugis Street. Then we returned to the hotel where we played Bullshit all night. And went to 7-11 even though it was like 2am already. Take note, we were in our pajamas!

DAY FOUR.
Was the day we went to our Lucas Arts Studio invite. It was a very awkward situation since it seemed like we were the only students there. Most of the people who went were already professionals. It didn't matter though, it was a one time event thing and we got exclusive IDs! It was all good. Couldn't take pictures though since we signed a confidentiality agreement.

(picture from Kevin's camera)
In the Expo station.
Just came from Lucas.

I was happy that night since finally, we were going to Sentosa! It was already my second time in Singapore and wasn't going to allow that I don't see Sentosa. I wasn't able to go their when I was last in Singapore.

We left the hotel around 8pm to have dinner at Food Republic in Vivo City.

Color-changing castle in Sentosa.

Yaaay~ Girls only. :P

It was pretty late but good thing we were still able to catch the train to Sentosa. We had enough time for pictures. But since we stayed too long we had to ride the bus going back to the city.

DAY FIVE.
Last day of the conference. But I didn't attend that day. Instead I went to Bugis with Aya. Aya and I, since we were on our last day, went on a shopping splurge! We even got our nails done--3D nail art! I also met up with my Dad and Tito Harry!

My Dad also went to Singapore, he followed days after my flight. :) It was so nice to have him there. I got to spend some quality time with him. We rode the Singapore Flyer, the ferris wheel! It was so pretty. I think it's best if you ride around 6pm so that you just catch that perfect moment between the sunset and the beautiful night skyline.

Finally got to ride this ferris wheel!

My Dad and I and the Singapore skyline.
The ferris wheel was at the very top.
♥ ♥ ♥ Thanks, Pa. ♥ ♥ ♥

Very beautiful! ♥ I took this shot! Hah!

And for the big ender of our Singapore trip, Tito Harry gave my friends and I free entrance to Zirca! Which was a bar in Singapore that played house music. Bars in Singapore are cooler! The only smoke that filled the bar was fog. XD

(picture from Kevin's camera)
It's me and Aya! :) The only girls in
the whole trip!

(picture from Kevin's camera)
Kevin and I! Kevin really enjoyed
dancing that night! Didn't you, Kevin?

(picture from Kevin's camera)
Here's me and Carlo. Lol, he was
my dancing buddy till 4am!

Lol, my friends and I stayed up until 4am dancing! We didn't notice the time already. All we knew was that we were tired. :)) I couldn't think of a better way of spending my last night in Singapore. Thanks, Tito Harry!

The only thing I wasn't able to do that night was do the Reverse Bungee! T_T I didn't know it was a two-person thing! No one wanted to do it with me since the Bungee was a little expensive. D: Oh well, I shall try it when I go back to Singapore. I still have a reason to go! I'm definitely doing the Reverse Bungee-Gmax next time.

DAY SIX.
Last day. It was time to go home! Nooooo! We wanted to stay longer but we couldn't. Last stop before we went to the airport was La Salle-Singapore! It was so PRETTY, PRETTIER than my school! I love everything about it!

See how beautiful it is!

And here's our final picture before we leave for Singapore.

(picture from Kevin's camera)
Yay for group picture! Here we are. :)

(picture from Paul's camera)
Here we are with Vannessa from G4.

I enjoyed the trip most definitely. And I enjoyed it most since I went there with my friends and my Dad also followed. It was a wonderful trip. :P I got to splurge a lot though, so I said goodbye to my savings already. :)) It's time to start saving again. But it was all worth it, I learned a lot too... and that's what really matters.

And since CG Overdrive is a yearly thing, some of my other friends are going again next year! Maaahn! I want to go with them too! I seriously need to save more moolahs! :))

Friends, thanks for the wonderful trip. :) I had a great time. Lots of memories, lah!

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Jumba Jumba

Too much procrastinating got me somewhere! I was giving myself reasons not to do my homework/activity for my Auto Cad class. After much Youtube-ing, I found one channel and I stayed there for one hour. Hahahaha.

♥♥ KEVJUMBA ♥♥

Kevin Wu. He so rocks. He's cute in a geeky way. I happen to stumble upon his channel (again) last night.

Iunno why but I got easily amused with his videos~ I find him cute. Asians--Chinese-- attract me. XDDDDD *gets shot* I like how he talks in front of the camera in this geeky, but not really geeky, way. Geeky boys are cute. Yes, geeky boys, but not those literally, geeky nerdy boys, you know. I know you're getting my point. There's something about them that's really attractive. They can also be funny and random! That's why they're easy to love!

It's also funny how he puts his Dad in his videos! I'm also very close with my Dad and I think it's cute that he has this very close relationship with his father. Relationships like that are hard to find nowadays. It's also nice of his father to come and support the show and be a sport about it (with the number of pranks KevJumba plays on him).

And I think it's very nice of him to start on the JumbaFund. It's another KevJumba channel in Youtube, which when people watch through that, he donates the money he earns to charity. So sweet, right? ♥ KevJumba's Official Site - this is cool. he has more videos here plus game and photos too~
KevJumba @ Youtube - watch his videos!
JumbaFund @ Youtube - videos for charity!

I'm just too amazed and entertained, I'm turning into a fangirl now.

Lol~ I'm embedding one KevJumba video here. It's the "Girls are Like M&Ms" Video. Watch it!

Enjoy!

PS. I know the video is big, for my site layout, but that's okay.
